One can hardly sum up Ecaho’s legendary status in the pantheon of great and important Polish Arabian stallions. It is not overstating to say that words do not suffice, and adjectives collapse under the weight of his magnificence. Ecaho’s entire existence is the stuff of legend.
Born of the fated breeding of Polish National Champion Mare Etruria, sired by the great Polish sire and racing legend Pepton, and named in honor of the European Conference of the Arabian Horse Organization, his destiny as king was sealed by his prestigious heritage long before his birth. He is without a doubt, heir to the illustrious Ibrahim sire line in Poland.
Without peer, Ecaho took the world by storm, earning honors as Polish National Champion Stallion, U.S. Top Ten Stallion, and electrifying Arabian breeders everywhere when he won the All Nations Cup with several perfect scores. Ecaho followed his many championships with years as a top sire for the Polish studs, siring some of the most beautiful and celebrated Arabian horses that have ever existed. His progeny include numerous National and World champions including the incomparable Emanda, Palmetta, Olita, Emandoria (granddaughter) and Alhambra, to name but a few.
Exotically typey and refined, majestically elegant and upright, perfectly conformed and exhuberantly athletic, Ecaho is the standard. An icon. Ecaho’s legend followed him to Haras de Cardenas, where he resides as one of the principal sires at HDC.
